Under The Hood. Spotlight.  

THE STORY:

Improbable Games is known for building gaming platforms. They also create games themselves. This project aimed to highlight Improbable Games as credible game-creators. We did this through six films – two for each of the client’s three studios located across the world.

In this Spotlight film, we meet Josh Holmes, head of Improbable Games’ Seattle studio. Well-known and highly respected in the gaming industry, we explore Josh’s career and learn about the development of things to come. 

THE CHALLENGE:

A crew of three. Shot in Seattle (US), Edmonton (Canada) and London (UK) over six days (two days at each location).  

This project deserved more than a bland talking-heads style film. It needed to be fast-paced, exciting and creative. We used interviews overlayed with gaming footage and editing techniques to captivate the viewer.

For some, gaming is everything: it was our job to bring their stories to life. 

The same in-house Kingdom Creative team members filmed at the three locations. This guaranteed consistency from the planning stage, throughout filming, and into the final edit.

Six films – two for each studio – for online use.
