Nick Skelton CBE,British double olympic gold medalist features in this documentary film talking about his show jumping career with his horse Big Star. The film celebrates the retirement of Nick from 9 successful years in showjumping. In his interview, Nick Skelton talks passionately about the bond between rider and horse and explains the challenges involved on the road to victory in Rio. He describes Big Star as “the best horse he has ever ridden” as he prepares to enter the ring for the final time with his beloved horse at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

After a career that has spanned 40 years, winning thousands of classes and hundreds of Grand Prix’ events, Nick Skelton retired from show jumping in 2017. He still holds the British equestrian high jump record, when he jumped over 7ft 7in during the puissance competition at the London Olympia Horse show in 1978.
