THE CLIENT:

National Express

THE PROJECT:

Getting On and Loving It.

THE STORY:

Storytelling through video, is one of Kingdom Creative’s strengths. National Express asked us to produce a collection of content for the Getting On and Loving It social media campaign. The project aimed to encourage people to use their free Older Person’s Travel Pass.

We followed the journeys of book-lover Millie and photography enthusiast Kevin, both using their Older Person’s Travel Pass to enjoy the independence that comes with a free and accessible public transport service.

THE CHALLENGE:

A crew of four. Shot over four days (two days per film) in Birmingham.

Kingdom Creative planned and executed everything from scratch. Our first task was to find real bus-users with charismatic stories. Once on the shoot, we tracked a bus around the streets of Birmingham. Working in unpredictable situations doesn’t daunt us. The project was more mini-documentary, less promotional, so the everyday life details add to the warmth of the film.

THE DELIVERABLES:

Two hero films, a suite of content for social media, and a collection of radio adverts.
