This is an interesting role for someone that would enjoy a varied day working in a growing team, and the opportunity to take on a variety of tasks both large and small. 

The Business

Kingdom Creative are a specialist video production company creating films for the motorsport, automotive, travel and sports industries.  We are fortunate to work for prestigious brands including Porsche, Formula 1, Aston Martin, Triumph Motorcycles and Hilton Hotels.  We have a team of twenty four, plus two office dogs and we are based on a farm in the Bedfordshire countryside.

Job Description

You would most certainly be challenged to learn new skills and tackle interesting projects to help the Managing Director grow the business, but to also help the wider team if required.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to grow your responsibilities as Kingdom Creative develops. The role would suit someone looking for a flexible schedule (15 to 25 hours per week dependant upon the applicant).


Managing diaries and organising meetings.

Reminding and assisting the Managing Director of important tasks and deadlines.

Placing recruitment adverts and reviewing applicants.

Assisting the various Department Heads by ensuring that a calendar of HR responsibilities is followed.

Updating our office screens with internal news.

Helping develop a company culture by arranging inspirational talks and charities that we can work with.

Managing and updating the client database.

Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.

Ensuring that everyone has a job description.

Ensuring that all departments have a succession plan in place.

Scheduling Business Development Meetings and meetings between the MD and Heads of Department.

Collating and filing expenses.

Researching companies online that we would like to work with.

Mailing out brochures to prospective clients.

Run office maintenance and improvements budget.

Checking that corporate responsibilities are adhered to such as first aid training.

Miscellaneous tasks to support the Managing Director, which will vary according to need and demand.

Skills Required

The confidence to take on major tasks and the flexibility to handle smaller jobs.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Organisational skills and the ability to multitask.

The ability to be proactive and take the initiative.

A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software.
