The Creative Team Manager is a central role within Kingdom Creative, with overall responsibility for Managing, Scheduling, Recruiting and Training our growing, passionate and ambitious Creative Team of Directors, Producers, DOPs and Editors. THE ROLE

The Creative Team Manager role is new within the company. You will play an influential part in the next stages of our growth by mentoring and managing our Creative Department. The role will be predominantly office based and will focus on the following key areas:

Management:-

You will already have a deep understanding of the production process and how to get the best out of a creative team. As your knowledge grows of our own in house team, you will effectively manage the existing team, ensuring the right talent is attached to the right projects and all teams are inspired to create their very best work. You will have a creative eye and some technical knowledge enabling you to contribute to both the production and post production phases. You will be a key voice in the company championing the Creative Department at all levels

Scheduling:-

Key to the success of each project is scheduling the right talent for the right length of time with the right specialities, and developing a network of strong Suppliers and Freelancers. The Creative Team Manager will be responsible for accurate resource allocation, continuity of teams across projects, and using our in-house software, tracking each project against quote and prompting producers to negotiate over-runs for additional work.

Training & Mentoring:-

You will actively seek out opportunities to grow the team’s skill base through on-project training and development, external courses, and at times the inclusion of external talent or suppliers to enhance a project. You will also develop strong professional relationships with each Creative Team individual, helping them to achieve their own professional growth goals, identifying and supporting any specialties and interests and pushing juniors and seniors alike as you mentor them in their careers at Kingdom Creative

Recruitment:-

The Creative Services Manager will identify any talent gaps and put in place an effective recruitment plan, involving key members of the Creative and Management Team in attracting and hiring the very best talent at all levels.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Engaged and inspired Creative Team
  • All projects well resourced and their progress managed with successful creative outcomes
  • Effective recruitment pipeline, relationships with local colleges and schools
  • Training plans for all areas of Creative development
  • Strong network of pre-approved external suppliers and freelancers to tap into
  • Strong communication links with all departments, with particular focus on Producers/Production
  • Creative department well organized, managed and represented at Management level
  • Financial tracking of all projects in line with quotes, and any overruns managed

THE PERSON

  • People orientated and a love of being part of a team.
  • Driven, competitive and ambitious.
  • 5+ years experience working in brand communications and/or advertising.
  • Must be able to drive and have your own car.
  • Must live within a 60 minute commute of SG15 6XP.
