Sustainability Policy

PURPOSE 

At Kingdom Creative, we believe creativity should make a positive mark on the world. That means reducing our impact on the planet, protecting resources for the future, and supporting the communities we work with. Sustainability is built into how we create, collaborate, and grow.  

This policy sets out our commitment to operating and creating in an environmentally responsible, socially conscious, and economically sustainable way. 

SCOPE 

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners engaged with Kingdom Creative. It covers office operations, creative productions, business travel, and supply chain management. 

OUR COMMITMENTS 

ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Carbon Reduction: Measure and monitor greenhouse gas emissions from operations with an aim to limit carbon emissions wherever possible.  
  • Energy Efficiency: Use renewable energy in offices where possible and improve efficiency of IT and production equipment. 
  • Sustainable Production: Minimise resource use on shoots and projects by reusing materials, reducing single-use items, and prioritising low-carbon transport and logistics. 
  • Travel Policy: Encourage rail travel, and car sharing for domestic travel, and continue to adopt virtual collaboration tools wherever feasible. 
  • Waste Management: Reduce waste at source, recycle all suitable materials, and responsibly dispose of electronic and hazardous waste. A commitment to the principals of zero-waste to landfill in line with government targets. 

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Fair Work: Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive working environment, ensuring fair pay and opportunities for all. 
  • Community Impact: Support local communities by engaging with regional suppliers. 
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Strive for representation and inclusivity in hiring, project teams, and creative outputs. 

SUPPLY CHAIN RESPONSIBILITY 

  • Responsible Sourcing: We work with partners who share our commitment to sustainability, and wherever possible choose suppliers accredited by albert—the BAFTA initiative helping the screen industry reduce its environmental impact. 
  • Partnerships: Work with clients and partners to integrate sustainability into creative solutions, from pre-production to delivery. 

GOVERNANCE & TRANSPARENCY 

  • Monitoring & Reporting: Publish an annual sustainability statement summarising progress and challenges. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Review and update practices annually, setting measurable objectives. 
  • Accountability: Assign responsibility for implementing this policy to the Sustainability Champions, reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team. 

IMPLEMENTATION 

  • Provide staff training on sustainability awareness and best practices. 
  • Embed sustainability considerations into project planning, budgeting, and client discussions. 

REVIEW 

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains relevant, effective, and aligned with the evolving needs of our stakeholders and the environment
