Mollie Redmond
Marketing & New Business Manager
Recently, we welcomed two groups of Media students from Barnfield College for a one-day, hands-on workshop that gave them a real taste of life at a busy film production agency.
At Kingdom Creative, we’re not just a creative video agency making out-of-this-world films. We also share our skills, give back, and help the next generation of storytellers and junior filmmakers find their feet, bringing them closer to the reality of working in the industry.
“The trip was very educational and inspiring for my future; they all are super friendly and energetic when talking about what they do and they all have their own fun stories to tell about their jobs or how they got into the industry.” – Barnfield College
The day kicked off with an introduction to production: what it takes to be a great producer, how to keep a shoot running smoothly, and what really happens behind the scenes on a professional set.
Then came the cameras. Students got hands-on experience behind the lens, learning how to frame a shot, work with movement, and capture a story visually. They even had a go at shooting their own short scenes, experimenting with a one-shot technique made popular again by the success of Adolescence, putting theory into practice and discovering just how much creative control the camera offers in shaping a story.
They also explored the world of lighting, experimenting with techniques to nail a perfect chef’s kiss kitchen scene, and stepped into the edit suite to see how footage is shaped into the final story using the same software we rely on for our action-packed, heart rate-raising films.
Alongside the technical skills, students met our amazing team, got sneak peeks of our work, and hopefully walked away with new skills, fresh ideas, and a ton of fun memories.
A day of learning, experimenting, and creating that proves the future of filmmaking is in very good hands.
At Kingdom Creative, we have years of experience working with some of the world’s most iconic brands, helping them tell their story through high-quality, engaging video content. From strategy, to creative, to production, and post-production, we’re here from start to finish.

When a new store opens, it’s easy to follow a familiar formula. For this project, we took a more cinematic approach, using an orbital rig to create seamless movement and a distinctive visual flow. In this edition of our Kit Cabinet series, we explore how that approach helped bring the space to life.
January 19, 2026
Kit Cabinet is a new series looking at how tools, rigs, and techniques perform when things get difficult. Real-world shoots, tight margins, and no room for error. It’s about the decisions made under pressure, how creative rigging solves problems on the day, and how those choices shape the final film.

Isn’t it frustrating when you’ve spent precious time and precious budget producing a beautiful brand film, and the only people sharing it are your own marketing team? Snap Their Attention. Keep Their Time.
People scroll fast, but it’s not short attention spans that hurt brands; it’s whether your content connects. That’s what wins, every time.
