Kingdom Creative are winners again.
The London Motor Film Festival is the world’s premier awards night for the automotive media industry and for the second year running Kingdom Creative walked away with the award for Best Event Film, a real honour for the entire Kingdom team. The London Motor Film Festival is a true celebration of the craft of automotive media. An annual black tie awards ceremony and cabaret screening, the night draws professionals from the automotive film industry, agencies, influencers, drivers, independent film makers, students and lovers of the machine from all corners of the globe. This is a truly international event.
Our winning film looks at the ‘Unbreakable’ character of racing driver Andy Priaulx. Andy is a strong family man and has to balance his love for his family with his focused desire to be a champion on the track. Andy has won the World Touring Car Champion three times and now drives for the Ford GT team in the World Endurance Championship. Enjoy the film, I am so proud of this one and delighted that the London Motor Film Festival judges appreciated it too. Filmed on a RED Epic with help from a DJI Inspire drone.
To have once again won the Best Event Film category surely singles out Kingdom Creative as the number one video production company when it comes to capturing the spirit of an event. Each year the Kingdom team film at numerous events such as the Le Mans 24 Hours, Goodwood Festival of Speed, London Olympia Horse Show, the World Endurance Championship and the Royal Windsor Horse Show. So how have we developed as a company to cover these events so well?
We have a strong, motivated and talented full-time team at Kingdom Creative, that over the years have built up in-depth knowledge of covering events.
We work as a team with everyone empowered to make positive decisions if the event schedule changes.
At Kingdom we continually invest in the latest technology to ensure that we have the best cameras and equipment for the job.
Quite possibly the main factor that helps us is our detailed preparation prior to the event. We have a full-time production team of six, this enables us to arrive at an event knowing exactly what film our client is after and what content we need to gather to achieve our client’s goals.
The fine work of the production team massively helps the creative team to only shoot what is required. We don’t gather footage that is never going to be used and this significantly speeds up the editing.
Lastly, we love what we do and our passion shows in our work.
Filming an event is a challenge, often shots can’t be repeated, weather is a factor, schedules change and time is limited. But when we all gather round to watch the finished film, the pride we all feel is huge knowing that we have all played our part in recording this piece of history.
Once again, thank you to the London Motor Film Festival. A fitting celebration of what has been achieved by an exciting industry to work within, an industry we all adore.
