When Dan Skelton Racing invited us in to create a film that would showcase their world-class training yard to prospective owners – but we saw something more. A chance to tell a story of quiet dedication, relentless pursuit, and the team mentality that powers everything behind the scenes.
Dan Skelton doesn’t follow. He sets the pace. Son of Olympic showjumping legend Nick Skelton, and former assistant to champion trainer Paul Nicholls, Dan brings pedigree and purpose to every detail. His Warwickshire base, Lodge Hill, is precision-built. But it’s the culture, the people, that sets this yard apart.
As part of a wider branded video production approach, we captured that over two days – one day at the stables, one at the racecourse. No talking heads. No flash. Just a carefully written script, voiced with clarity and conviction. Every shot focused on movement, focus, and connection, between horse, rider, and team.
From dawn routines to thundering gallops, we filmed the rhythm of the yard – the craft behind the calm, the detail behind the dominance. Music and pacing were built to lift the emotion without stealing the spotlight.
