VIDEO EDITOR & MOTION DESIGNER

THE MISSION

Job Type: Full Time
Report to: Head of Post Production
Salary: £30k – £34k

We are seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer, as we look to further expand our Post-Production Team and develop our Motion Design capabilities.

THE ROLE

Working in partnership with an extensive in-house Creative Team, you will collaborate on a range of projects for global brands, editing branded content, social media content, develop supporting graphics and creating original full motion GFX projects.

This role would suit any multi-skilled creative looking to join our incredibly passionate and enthusiastic team of filmmakers. This role presents a unique dual opportunity to create compelling video content and be part of a developing motion design team as we expand our horizons and push our creative capabilities into new areas.

The successful candidate will:

  • Will have at least three years of industry experience delivering branded and commercial content.
  • Will have recent showreel/s or a collection of work demonstrating your ability as a Video Editor and Motion Designer.
  • Be an advanced user of Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Be an advanced user of Adobe After Effects, competent with Expressions.
  • Have strong technical skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Competent in colour grading and sound design within the Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere Pro environment. Knowledge of other packages is valued but not essential.
  • Be able to create a cohesive narrative in the edit suite and deliver to tight time frames.
  • Create original Motion GFX to support & develop existing client branding.
  • Be innovative and creative, with an appetite to take ownership of the creative process from ideation through to delivery.

The Person

  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to be decisive and logical under pressure.

  • A passion to develop and learn, embracing emergent trends and technology in our industry.
  • Knowledge/experience of 3D Design highly valued but not essential.
  • Must be able to drive and have your own car.
  • Must live within a 60 minute commute of SG15 6XP.
