Equipment Coordinator

£18,000

The Role
The Equipment Coordinator’s main responsibility will be to maintain and prepare equipment for filming shoots. Knowledge of camera and media equipment is useful but not essential as full training will be given. This position would suit someone who is keen to pursue a career in the film production industry and progress their career in either camera operating, editing or both.

Responsibilities will include:
Checking, preparing and packing all equipment before and after shoots
Maintenance and repair of faulty equipment
Working to tight deadlines
Driving the tracking vehicle
Assisting with insurance claims if equipment is damaged
Ensuring vehicles are serviced and maintained prior to shoots

The Person
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic is crucial in this role
Has common sense and is practical
Would suit someone who enjoys a variety of different tasks and who is flexible
Excellent communication skills
Enjoys working as part of an enthusiastic team
Flexible as hours can sometimes be longer than normal office hours and the occasional weekend
Must be able to drive and have your own car and be able to commute to SG15 6XP

Kit Room Assistant

The Role
Initially the Kit Room Assistant's main responsibility will be to maintain and prepare equipment for filming shoots. Knowledge of the camera and media equipment is useful but not essential as full training will be given. This position would suit someone who is looking to make their first move into the film production industry or someone who wants to take the next step to progress their career. If you prove yourself to be a quick learner and are keen to get behind a camera and start filming or get stuck in as an editor, or both, this will be the ideal role for you. We are committed as a company to developing young talent and you will have access to some of the best kit in the business.

Responsibilities will include:
Checking, preparing and packing all equipment before and after shoots
Maintenance and repair of faulty equipment
Working to tight deadlines
Driving the tracking vehicle
Assisting with insurance claims if equipment is damaged
Ensuring vehicles are serviced and maintained (including cleaning prior to shoots)

Ability to assist as camera operator on shoots
Some editing experience
Excellent communication skills
Enjoys working as part of an enthusiastic team
Must be able to drive and have your own car and live within a commutable distance of SG15 6XP

Apprentice

The Role
This is a full time Apprenticeship position within our Creative Department.

You will learn all aspects of the working within a video production company, from managing and preparing kit for jobs, assisting with filming both in the UK and abroad, ingesting media, to editing and graphics. As well as general office duties.

The Person
A passion for filmmaking.
Online showreel and or examples of films you have made or edited
Attention to detail, fast thinking and logical, with good communication skills.
Must be able to drive and have your own car.
Must live within a 45 minute commute of SG15 6XP.
