Production Coordinator

£16,000 to £20,000

Summary of Position
This position would appeal to someone who is looking to take the next step in their career, or a production secretary looking to progress. You are a self-starter who can work on your own initiative. You would be responsible for managing a number of projects across various clients, within a busy production department. The role is extremely varied but would include:

Logistics for shoots.
Support the team of Producers and Head of Production with all aspects of projects.
Generating ideas as part of a team for clients within creative workshops.
Assist with day to day management of Production Runner.
Project planning.
Assisting the Producers with all aspects of the shoot including scheduling (shoot timetable), location sourcing, casting, crew, travel and related production documentation.
Set-up, monitor and update Kingdom’s internal systems with all relevant information throughout a project.
Liaising with clients to gather information ready for filming
Staff briefings on all aspects of the project.

On set responsibilities
Assisting with client management and running the schedule on set.
Interviewing.
Managing catering and venue contacts.

Ideal Candidate
Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
At least 1 years experience working in a production environment.
Well organised with excellent communication skills.
Preferably some experience of assisting with the set-up of international shoots.
Must be able to drive and have your own car and live within a 90 minute commute of SG15 6XP.

Production Assistant

Summary of Position

This position would appeal to someone looking to gain experience within this exciting and fast-moving industry. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to gain vital experience and skills that are required to progress into the world of Production. 

The role is extremely varied, one day you could be based in the office in a production meeting the next on a racetrack. The role would include:

Research including location sourcing, pitch ideas and budgeting.
Assisting the Production team and attending meetings.
Booking freelancers and equipment, assisting on set.
General administrative duties.

Ideal Candidate

Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
Well organised with excellent communication skills.
Desire to progress into a production role.
Must be able to drive and have your own car and live within a 90 minute commute of SG15 6XP.

Camera Operator & Editor

£24,000

Summary of Position 
The Senior Camera Operator and Editor will be an integral part of the Creative Team. You will be responsible for creating high quality video content that meets the client’s brief as well as coming up with your own creative ideas.  The successful candidate will have a portfolio illustrating their previous experience behind the camera and in the edit suite. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a passion for filmmaking and is looking to further their career within a fast paced production environment.  The role is extremely varied but would include:

Filming at various locations, both in the UK and abroad.
Liaising with clients on and off set to achieve the maximum from value from the filming day.
Using your advanced filming and editing skills to produce high quality video.
Taking ownership of projects from start to finish to ensure the film achieves the Client’s goal.
Researching new ideas to keep up to date with the latest trends and providing creative input.

Ideal Candidate
1+ years experience within a similar role.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to be decisive and logical under pressure.
Ability to create a cohesive narrative in the edit suite.
Ability to operate a range of cameras and equipment at a high level.
Capable of delivering new concepts and working to tight deadlines.
Works well as a self-shooter but also as part of a team on larger productions.
Must be able to drive and have your own car and live within a 90 minute commute of SG15 6XP.

Camera Operator & Editor - Junior

The Role
This is a full time role, the Junior Camera Operator and Editor will be part of the creative team, filming and editing whilst working closely with the Senior Camera Operator and Editor. The role would provide opportunities to gain experience in all areas of the production process.  There is a opportunity for progression within the company.

Filming and Editing
Producing high quality video that meets all aspects of the client’s brief.
Filming at a variety of different locations, both in the UK and abroad.
Operating secondary cameras on set and occasionally assisting the director.

Office Duties
Editing video content to match the client’s brief.
Assisting the creative team with pre-production planning, ingesting footage, logging, cutting interviews and choosing music.
General office duties.

The Person
Some  experience within a similar role.
Online showreel and also examples of full films.
Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.
Must be able to drive and have your own car.
Must live within a 90 minute commute of SG15 6XP.

Runner & Camera Assistant

£16,000

The Role
This is a full time position, the Runner & Camera Assistant will be part of the Creative Team and their main focus will be to manage all aspects of the camera equipment, preparing kit for jobs, ensuring equipment is available and managing repairers and replacement when necessary. Ensuring all consumables are in stock and kit is packed correctly is key.

Additionally they will go on selected shoots as part of the crew to assist with equipment and ingest media.

This role is a direct path to progress to a Junior Camera Operator position at Kingdom in 12 months time, the promotion will be accompanied by a suitable pay rise. This is a fantastic opportunity for any individual looking to develop their career as a creative in a fast paced production environment.

Camera Assistant Responsibilities
Preparing camera equipment for shoots.
Unpacking and auditing kit post shoots.
Managing repairs and replacing consumables within the kit room.
Creating systems for booking, storing and managing equipment.
Assisting filming at a variety of different locations, both in the UK and abroad.
Assisting the Production Managers and Production Assistants as well as Senior members of staff.
General office duties.

The Person
A passion for filmmaking.
Online showreel and also examples of full films.
Attention to detail, fast thinking and logical, with good communication skills.
A determination to develop and progress into a Junior Camera Operator position.
Must be able to drive and have your own car.
Must live within a 90 minute commute of SG15 6XP.
